So you are getting a steal here Amazon can offer to sell the kindle so low because most of their income is earned from their eBooks. The Kindle Touch is a moderately giant step forward from the actual Kindle because now it is actually a tablet (Think I-pad)
Kindle Fire runs the Android OS which I am definitely a fan of over the iOs. So far from the Kindle Touch Reviews I have read so far (keep in mind it was released yesterday) it doesn't appear that Kindle Fire will have 4G capabilities. This is kind of a set back because having web in all places is definitely desirable I will keep you updated on this!
